What a fun day 18th of January 2012 was at St Stephen’s Girls’ Primary School. The students, parents and staff spent the day enjoying many fun activities in English. These included dramatic readings and plays by the P4, P5 and P6 classes for competition or sharing with the younger P1 and P2 students.
The open-eyed appreciation and enthusiastic answering of follow-up questions by the younger students was a pleasure to see. Similarly the keen involvement with the English activities presented by parents to P1, P2 and P3 classes was a sign of the success of the day.
The overall preparation by the older students and the obvious care that they put into the delivery of their performances is a credit to themselves, their teachers and their parents. Much thanks must go to all the school community for valuing and encouraging English as an important form of communication and fun.
